PHP vs. Rails debate

Here’s a debate between two top web developing technologies. PHP language is one the most robust open source web developing language because it’s based from C programming . It has a wide range of documentations and a very large community which supports its development.

On the other hand Rails is a framework (the language behind this wonderful technology is the Ruby language) which can help web developers develop applications at a much faster rate yet the problem is that porting Rails apps would cost more because most web server today are does not support Rails (or even Ruby) yet.
